How it works

From print to skin

  1. Hands holding a printed tattoo reference against an arm

    01 Use reference to size

Pick your piece, print the reference at scale, and measure it against the body to find the best place.

  2. Stencil transfer being peeled off the skin

    02 Place the stencil

Apply the stencil transfer to skin, adjust the body flow, and check the angle before starting the needle.

  3. Tattoo artist working on a client

    03 Ready to tattoo!

Download high-resolution stencils ready to print. Every download includes a personal and studio-friendly commercial license. Read before your session.

About

Good lines only

This archive was created to solve a problem from when I started tattooing: finding high-resolution real tattoo designs that are ready to print, saving you from tracing low-quality references.

Every piece here is an original design, made by a human for humans. Whether you’re here to collect your next piece or building a life making art. I hope these designs inspire you!

Usage & Licensing

Good lines, fair rules

Every design here is free to tattoo, also commercially. The goal is simple: that you live from your art. Read this before your session.

You can

  • Tattoo it — on yourself or your clients, as many times as you like.
  • Charge for the tattoo — use it in your studio and make a living from it.
  • Adapt it — resize, modify, mix or combine it to fit the body and the client.
  • Print it — for stencils, references and practice on fake skin.
  • Share the result — post photos and videos of the finished tattoo.

You can’t

  • Resell the files — or share them, alone or in packs, original or modified.
  • Put it on merch — shirts, prints, stickers, posters or any other product.
  • Claim it as your own — design, or enter it in contests as original work.
  • Use it as a logo — or trademark, or to train AI models.

Credit is optional, but appreciated. Tag @teres.tattoo when you post your tattoo. Nobody will chase you if you don’t.

This is a plain-language summary of the Teres Tattoo Free Flash License. The full text is included as LICENSE.txt in every download.

Behind the project

Why this archive exists

When I started tattooing, finding good references was the hardest part. Most designs online were low resolution, traced from someone else’s work, or impossible to print at the right size. I spent more time fixing references than drawing.

Teres Tattoo is the archive I wish I had back then: original designs, drawn by hand, tested on skin and exported ready to print. The first collection is free, because I want to see these lines on as many bodies as possible.

The bigger goal is for tattoo artists to live from their art. Full flash kits and Procreate files are on the way. If you want to know when new designs drop, join the drop list.
